Apotex Health Announces US$925.8 Million (C$1.3 Billion) IPO Canada's Largest Since 2021

Apotex Health Corp. has announced plans for a US$925.8 Million (C$1.3 Billion) initial public offering on the Toronto Stock Exchange, making it the largest Canadian IPO since 2021. The offering marks a significant milestone for one of Canada's largest pharamaceutical companies, with operations spanning more than 45 countries and a diversified portfolio of generic medicines, biosimilars, innovative branded pharmaceuticals and consumer health products.

The proposed listing is expected to strengthen Apotex's capital base, supporting continued investment in research, product development and international expansion while enhancing its position in the global healthcare market. The transaction also reflects renewed momentum in Canada's equity capital markets and growing investor confidence in the life sciences and pharmaceutical sector.
