Belden Completes US$1.85 Billion Acquisition of RUCKUS Networks

Belden Inc. has completed its US$1.85 billion acquisition of RUCKUS Networks from Vistance Networks, strengthening its position as a leading provider of end-to-end IT and operational technology (IT/OT) networking solutions.

The transaction combines Belden's expertise in industrial networking and connectivity with RUCKUS' portfolio of enterprise Wi-Fi, switching ans cloud-based network management solutions, creating a more comprehensive offering for customers across sectors including education, healthcare, hospitality and enterprise communications.

Headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, Belden provides networking infrastructure and communications technologies for enterprise and industrial applications, while California-based RUCKUS is recognsied for its advanced wireless networking solutions. The acquisition enhances Belden's ability to deliver integrated, intelligent connectivity solutions and expands its footprint in the fast-grwoing enterprise networking market.
