CANAL+ Group has completed its secondary inward listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), becoming the first French company to list on the exchange and the first new Main Board Listing of 2026. The listing follows the company's primary listing on the London Stock Exchange in December 2024 and reinforces its dual-continental strategy spanning Europe and Africa.
The milestone enhances CANAL+'s access to African capital markets, broadens its investor base and provides South African investors with direct exposure to a leading media and entertainment company. The listing also builds on CANAL+'s growing presence across the continent following its acquisition and integration of MultiChoice Group, strengthening its position in a region it considers a key driver of future growth. The transaction further underscores the JSE's role as a gateway for international issuers seeking access to African investment opportunities.
