Court of Appeal affirms banks' anti-fraud powers and BVN watch-listing authority

The Court of Appeal upheld the authority of Nigerian banks to impose Post-No-Debit (PND) restrictions and place customers on the BVN watchlist without obtaining prior court orders where fraud is suspected, significantly strengthening the anti-fraud framework in the banking sector
