Court Orders University to Reinstate PhD Student

Following successful judicial review and contempt of court proceesings, Mr Dickiel Kusainda has been reinstated as a student at the University of Limpopo and has officially been awarded his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in International Relations.

The case centered on the University's failure to comply with court orders relating to Mr Kusainda's academic status and the examination of his doctoral thesis.

After the University complied with the court's directives, his thesis were examined, culminating in the award of his doctorate.
