On June 12, 2026, the First Nations Finance Authority (FNFA), a statutory not-for-profit organization with the objective of providing First Nations governments with investment options and capital planning advice and access to long-term loans with preferable interest rates) completed its offering of $800 million in aggregate principal amount of 3.25% senior secured bonds, Series 2026-1, due June 1, 2031. The offering was made through an underwriting syndicate comprised of CIBC World Markets Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., RBC Dominion Securities Inc., TD Securities Inc., Casgrain & Company Limited, Beacon Securities Limited and Cedar Leaf Capital Inc.
