GE Vernova has completed the acquisition of Robotech Automation, a Quebec-based robotics and automation systems integrator, following the signing of a definitive agreement in May 2026. The acquisition strengthens GE Vernova's robotics and automation capabilities, supportung its broader strategy to improve safety, quality, efficiency and cost performance across its global supply chain. Robotech is recognised for delivering customised automation solutions through in-house design , engineering and systems integration, backed by a network of manufacturing partners.
The business will complement ongoing innovation at GE Vernova's Advanced Research Centre (ARC), accelerating the deployment of advanced automation technologies across its operations. The transaction also reinforces GE Vernova's long-standing commitment to Canada's energy sector, where its technologies currently contribute to approximately 43% of the country's electricity generation
